College of the Arts

About the College

Fresh ideas. Immersive learning. A transformative campus experience. The College of the Arts is reshaping creative education.

A hub of creative thought and energy, the College of the Arts at Columbus State University is committed to teaching through innovative, hands-on curricula. From nationally accredited programs in art, music, and theatre to our communication program's Non Profit and Civic Engagement Center (NPACE), the College has earned a reputation for academic excellence and experiential learning.

With world-class facilities on CSU’s historic RiverPark Campus, the College gives students room to create. Studios, workshops, theatres, exhibition venues, and green spaces foster inspiration and exploration. The cultural and creative center we’ve helped to develop attracts award-winning faculty, visiting scholars, and cultural influencers from around the world.

The College is a major economic force in the revitalization of Uptown Columbus, contributing more than $26 million to the local economy each year. International music conferences, state meetings in art and theatre, and more than 250 performances and art exhibitions draw thousands of visitors to the area annually. Together, CSU’s College of the Arts and RiverPark campus continue to transform the city, the state, and the region.
